Hello!
My name is Charlotte Buttercase. I'm 20 years old, in my third year of reading Medicine (MBChB) at the University of Manchester.
I love to use teaching as a way to re-connect with my passion subjects, that I don't get to "dig into" as much since I began my training as a student doctor.
My methods are all about building confidence, and self sufficiency. Passing my examinations and getting into medical school was never easy for me- I hope to pass on the tools I devised, and skills I learned to all of my tutoring students.
Please do send over any enquiries for additional subjects not listed. I have around 3 years of teaching experience, at a range of levels, so more than happy to mould myself to any new requests or needs.
I look forward to meeting you!

In2MedSchool is a fantastic widening participation registered charity. I was fortunate enough to be a part of what was a very small team at its' inception.
Now having racked up 1000s of student mentees and mentors, I have been well exposed to coaching students through the difficult process of applications to medical school- no matter their background.
I have a range of academic and non-academic hobbies to keep me sane.
I particularly love to dance, having studied ballet since the age of 3. Most recently I have taken up ballroom and latin classes as part of my university- having also attempted some "theatre jazz" classes at Steps on Broadway during my summer in New York last year!
Outside of this, I train with a local hockey club weekly, I love to engage in debate and explore new places.
