Teaching Approach:
Believes in building rapport with students and getting them invested in the learning process. Emphasizes understanding the purpose of studying a subject to enhance productivity and enjoyment. Provides well-rounded summaries of each topic to familiarize students with key concepts. Tackles topics from every angle to build confidence and focus on areas needing improvement. Encourages active participation and critical thinking.
My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, resulting in a high success rate for students passing these exams. I employ an adaptive teaching style that combines elements of dialogic teaching, scaffolding, and personalized instruction.
Before each lesson, I meticulously prepare by reviewing the student's progress, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, and aligning the content with their learning goals. This targeted approach enables me to provide effective instruction and address any gaps in understanding. Utilizing a range of resources such as textbooks, visual aids, online materials, and interactive exercises, I cater to diverse learning styles and maintain a stimulating learning experience.
During our sessions, I prioritize active engagement, encouraging students to ask questions, seek clarification, and actively participate in discussions. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to nurture critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper conceptual understanding.
Between lessons, I emphasize independent learning and practice, providing supplementary materials, recommending relevant resources, and suggesting exercises to consolidate knowledge. I expect students to take ownership of their learning journey, dedicating time outside of our sessions to review, practice, and apply the concepts learned. By doing so, they not only reinforce their understanding but also develop self-discipline and resilience, which contribute to their success in the targeted exams.
