Hello, I'm Wahhab. I'm currently a student doctor and the passion of my week is always my tutoring sessions. The passion and dedication is evident in my sessions. Creating sessions which are fun are one of my strengths and I do this without compromising on how informative the sessions are. This ensures that my sessions are memorable, engaging and they increase the students motivation.
I teach 11+, KS2, KS3, GCSE (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Religious Studies & Geography) and A-Level (Biology, Chemistry & Maths).
Getting to strengthen a students weakness and making them reach their potential is an honour and all my students are guaranteed to go away with this. I am constantly and actively reflecting on how I can conduct my sessions to get the best outcomes for my students. I do this by asking my students to complete a feedback form after sessions. This ensures that I meet the individualistic needs of every student.
I am thorough in my teaching approach whilst also making the educational environment stimulating. I will be checking in with the student to ensure they are meeting the goals and targets we set. I always offer every student complimentary homework tasks which I mark before the session. This ensures I am analysing the students weakness as there is no point covering the students already strong points.
I have extensive experience tutoring. Tutoring which is the best quality and target driven. Feedback I have received is evidence of this. Also, I have experience tutoring students who are neurodivergent. Coming from a widening participation background and being the first generation to go to my family I have found academic tips and tricks which allowed me to succeed and thrive. Exam technique is important and they are embedded in my sessions.
Mr Aftab is one of the third year medical students which I teach. During the time I have known him, he has always remained professional and engaged in teaching sessions.
Teaching Skills
I have not observed Mr Aftab's teaching skills before, however I know him to possess many of the qualities needed to be a successful teacher, including that of patience, kindness, a good knowledge base, and enthusiasm for learning.
General
I highly recommend Mr Aftab for the role of tutor.
