Short Bio:

Hi! I’m Iris and I’m currently a first year medical student at UCL after having achieved nine 9s at GCSE and an A* in Biology, A in Chemistry and an A in Maths at A-level. This recent experience has allowed me to posses in-depth knowledge of the current exam requirements and has equipped me to guide students on exactly what they need to know to excel in their exams. 

My extensive experience in teaching GCSE Maths and Science has allowed me to successfully raise students’ grades in all subjects. I tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student as well maintaining a friendly and encouraging environment. I know how daunting certain subjects can be and I am happy to explain many different times in many different ways to ensure my pupil is left feeling confident with what they have learned. 


My approach focuses on ensuring students not only understand the content but also excel in exam techniques, leading to significant improvements and great results among my students. Firstly, we will focus on ensuring the student understands all the content and general principles. Then, we will practice topic exam questions and finally, we’ll move on to complete exam papers. 

My aim is for my students to walk into the exam confidently, knowing all the content in depth whilst also having the skills to tackle any type of exam question that may come their way.

All of my pupils are very happy with the lessons and continue them until they sit their exams.
