Short Bio:

With over three decades of experience in both scientific research and academic instruction, I am a seasoned Science teacher, tutor and examiner. I know what is needed to bridge the gap between the classroom and home and help students achieve their potential. With my extensive experience as a Science teacher, Head of Chemistry and Head of Science I know how to elevate students' skills and knowledge to achieve those academic goals. As an examiner, I can provide valuable insights to help improve exam techniques, address common misconceptions and provide guidance to maximise marks.

Roisin has a broad Scientific knowledge, gained from being a highly successful research Scientist, teacher and exam board examiner. Being a published Scientist allows Roisin to teach linking the classroom to the Scientific industry seamlessly - particularly useful for A-Level students looking into medical careers.
Rosin's teaching career has been highly successful, starting as a Science teacher and progressing to be Head of Chemistry and Head of Science. The skills gained during this period allow Roisin to tutor so that the needs of any individual are met - in a calm and concise manner. A track record of excellent examination results supports this. 
Being an examiner also allows Roisin to explain any misconceptions, to avoid pitfalls and highlight common things examiners look for on examination scripts.
